The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) at University of Cyberjaya (UoC) is a comprehensive four-year program designed to equip students with essential skills in pharmaceutical care, drug therapy, and medicine management. Graduates are prepared for diverse roles such as hospital and clinical pharmacists, community pharmacists, and industrial pharmacists.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Foundational courses including Pharmacists Professional Development, Human Anatomy & Physiology, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
- Year 2: Intermediate studies covering Pharmacokinetics, Respiratory Diseases, and Medicinal Chemistry.
- Year 3: Advanced topics such as Pharmacy Legislation, Nuclear Pharmacy, and Oncology, along with research projects.
- Year 4: Specialized training through experiential learning in various pharmacy settings, including hospital and industrial placements.
Entry Requirements
- STPM/A-Level: Grades BBB, ABC, or AAC in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum grade B in Chemistry.
- UEC: Minimum B4 in five subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Advanced Mathematics or another subject.
- Foundation: Grades BBB, ABC, or AAC in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with a minimum grade B in Chemistry, and a minimum of 5Bs in SPM/O-Levels.
- IB Diploma: Minimum of 30 points overall, with a minimum score of 5 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, including at least two at Higher Level.
- Diploma in Pharmacy: Minimum CGPA of 3.50, with the program not less than 5 semesters or 2½ years, and completed in the same institution.
- Diploma in Science: Diploma in Science (Chemistry, Biology, or Physics) with a minimum CGPA of 3.75, including a minimum B in Chemistry.
- South Australian Matriculation (SAM): Aggregate 75% in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Mathematics, including a minimum of 75% in Chemistry.
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Aggregate 75% in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Mathematics, including a minimum of 75% in Chemistry.
- English Proficiency (International Students): Minimum IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent.
