- A-Level: Minimum Grade C in one Physical Science subject and a pass in Mathematics.
- Matriculation/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 2.00 in Physical/Technical stream.
- Diploma: Pass in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
- UEC: Minimum Grade B in five subjects, including Advanced Mathematics and a Physical Science subject.
- International Baccalaureate (IB): Total points of 24 in six subjects, including Mathematics and one Physical Science subject.
- HND (UK) Diploma: Pass in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
- SAME/WACE/AUSMAT: Average marks of 55% with Mathematics and one Physical Science subject.
- Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
