Program Structure
- Year 1: Foundational courses including Writing for Academic Purposes, Principles of Accounting, Principles of Economics, Business Mathematics, Business Communication, Principles of Management, and Foreign Languages 1.
- Year 2: Intermediate topics such as Managerial Finance, Introduction to Financial Technology, Principles of Computer Programming, Introduction to Computing & Information Systems, Business Statistics, Business Law, and Foreign Languages 2.
- Year 3: Advanced subjects including E-Marketing, Business Process Management, Strategic Management Information Systems, Object-Oriented System Analysis & Design, Information Technology Security, and Co-Curriculum activities.
- Year 4: Specialization courses like Statistics Modeling and Analysis in Financial Engineering, Disruptive Innovation and Financial Technologies, Applied Programming for Financial Technologies, Financial Market and Institutions, Digital Banking and Finance, and elective courses.
- Final Year: Focus on E-Payment Systems and Cryptocurrency Technologies, IoT Data Analytics, Distributed Ledger Technology and Blockchain, Fundraising and Crowdfunding Management, FinTech Regulation and Legal Policy, and Industrial Training.
Entry Requirements
- Pass STPM (or equivalent) with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in any 2 subjects; and pass SPM (or equivalent) with credit in Mathematics and pass in English.
- Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid; and pass SPM (or equivalent) with credit in Mathematics and pass in English.
- Matriculation/Foundation qualification (or equivalent) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00, and pass SPM (or equivalent) with credit in Mathematics and pass in English.
- Any qualification equivalent to Diploma in Finance, Banking, Insurance, Information Technology, or related field (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00.
- Pass Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and the program must have Full Accreditation (FA) by MQA or other recognized accreditation bodies.
- Pass the DKM/DLKM/DVM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 AND have at least two (2) years of work experience in a related field. The program must have Full Accreditation (FA) by MQA or other recognized accreditation bodies.
- International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 6.0 for IELTS or its equivalent.
