Course Overview
The Bachelor in Accounting (Hons) at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) Business School provides students with comprehensive knowledge in accounting and finance, equipping them with essential management skills and leadership qualities. Program Structure
- Year 1: Introduction to financial and management accounting, business mathematics, microeconomics, and business communication.
- Year 2: Advanced financial reporting, taxation, audit principles, and human capital management.
- Year 3: Accounting theory, advanced auditing, organizational studies, and global entrepreneurship.
- Year 4: Industrial training (24 weeks), integrated case studies, public sector accounting, and strategic policy management.
Entry Requirements
- STPM: Minimum Grade C+ (NGMP 2.33) in any two subjects, with credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level.
- STAM: Minimum grade of Jayyid, with credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level.
- Diploma: In accounting or related field, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, credits in Mathematics, and a pass in English at SPM level.
- Matriculation/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 2.50, with credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level.
- A-Level: Minimum Grade D in two subjects, with a pass in Mathematics and English at O Level.
- International Baccalaureate (IB): At least 24 points.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) UK: In a related area, recognized by the Malaysian government and approved by the UniKL Senate.
- 12 years of schooling: Highest school qualification in the country of origin, eligible for bachelor's degree entry in that country.
- Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM): Minimum CGPA of 2.50, or CGPA of 2.00 with at least two years of related work experience.
