The Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Program Structure
- Year 1: Engineering fundamentals including Engineering Mathematics, Electronics, Circuit Theory, Field Theory, and Computer and Program Design.
- Year 2: Specialized training in Microcontroller and Microprocessor Systems, Electromagnetic Theory, Computer Organisation and Architecture, Object-Oriented Programming with C++, and Digital Signal Processing.
- Year 3: Advanced modules such as Analog and Digital Communications, Operating Systems, Advanced Microprocessors, Advanced Computer Architecture and Parallel Computing, and Cybersecurity, along with a Capstone Project and Industrial Training.
- Year 4: Focus on Multimedia Technology and Applications, Control Theory, Digital Computer Design, and a Final Year Project.
Entry Requirements
- Pass Foundation/Matriculation studies in a related field from a recognised institution.
- Pass STPM or its equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in Mathematics and Physics.
- Pass A-Level with a minimum of Grade D in Mathematics and Physics.
- Pass UEC with a minimum of Grade B in at least five (5) subjects inclusive of Mathematics and Physics.
- Recognised Diploma in Engineering/Engineering Technology or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
