Program Structure
- Year 1: Fundamental courses including Engineering Mathematics, Electronics, Circuit Theory, and Field Theory.
- Year 2: Intermediate subjects such as Microcontroller & Microprocessor Systems, Circuits & Signals, Electromagnetics Theory, and Power Transmission & Distribution.
- Year 3: Advanced topics including Power System Analysis, Power Electronics, Control Theory, and Industrial Training.
- Year 4: Specialization options in Electric Vehicle Engineering or Energy Management, along with courses like High Voltage Engineering and Renewable Energy Technology.
Entry Requirements
- Pass Foundation/Matriculation studies in a related field from a recognized institution.
- Pass STPM or its equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in Mathematics and Physics.
- Pass A-Level with a minimum of Grade D in Mathematics and Physics.
- Pass UEC with a minimum of Grade B in at least five (5) subjects inclusive of Mathematics and Physics.
- Recognized Diploma in Engineering/Engineering Technology or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00.
- Pass DKM/DLKM/DVM with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Candidates with CGPA below 2.50 must have at least two (2) years of work experience in the related field.
