The Bachelor of Business and Knowledge Management (Hons.) at Multimedia University (MMU) is designed to equip students with the skills and attitudes necessary to excel in the dynamic field of knowledge management. This program emphasizes information management, strategic business intelligence, and the commercialization of knowledge, preparing graduates for roles such as business consultant, project manager, system developer, technology manager, chief information officer, information analyst, knowledge analyst, system developer, and enterprise portal developer.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Fundamental courses including Marketing, Financial Accounting, Information Systems Concepts, Mathematics for Managers, and English for Business Studies.
- Year 2: Intermediate subjects such as Knowledge Management, Database System Management, Managing Knowledge Personnel, International Business, and Critical Thinking in Organizations.
- Year 3: Advanced topics including Strategic Knowledge Management, Business Research Methods, Knowledge Commerce, Business Ethics, and a Knowledge Management Research Project.
Entry Requirements
- Pass Foundation/Matriculation studies from a recognized institution.
- Pass STPM or its equivalent with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 subjects and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM Level or its equivalent.
- Pass A-Level with a minimum of Grade D in any 2 subjects and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM Level or its equivalent.
- Pass STAM with a minimum Grade Jayyid (Good) in 2 subjects and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM or its equivalent.
- Pass UEC with a minimum of Grade B in at least five (5) subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English.
- Pass Diploma from a recognized institution.
