Program Structure
- Year 1, Semester 1: Core courses including Research Methodology, Instrumentation, Biosafety, and introductory subjects in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, Pharmacology, Immunology, and an Industrial Attachment.
- Year 1, Semester 2: Elective courses in specialized areas such as Microbiology, Pharmacology, or Physiology, allowing students to tailor their studies to their interests.
- Year 2, Semester 1: Research-focused modules including Research Proposal and a comprehensive Research project, culminating in a dissertation.
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.75.
- Applicants with a CGPA between 2.50 and 2.75 may be considered subject to rigorous internal assessment.
- For CGPA below 2.50, a minimum of five years working experience in a relevant field or proof of publication is required.
- English proficiency requirements for international candidates: IELTS Band 5 or TOEFL score of 410–413 if the first degree was not in English.
