Course Overview
The BA (Hons) Graphic Design programme at INTI International College Subang, in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University, UK, equips students with essential skills in advertising, illustration, motion and interactive design, and traditional graphic design. Graduates are prepared for dynamic roles such as Art Director, Creative Director, Graphic Designer, and Multimedia Artist.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Focus on foundational design principles and practices, including courses like Graphic Design Principles Part 1 & 2, and Graphic Design Practice Part 1 & 2. Electives include Advertising Design and Typography.
- Year 2: Engage in live projects with industry clients, studying subjects such as Graphic Design in Context Part 1 & 2, and Graphic Design in Production Part 1 & 2.
- Year 3: Undertake self-directed projects to develop a personal area of interest, including Graduation Projects Part 1 & 2, and Professional Practice (Graphic Design). A compulsory industry placement provides real-world experience.
Entry Requirements
- STPM/A-Level: 2 Full Passes with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 (Grade C), with Credit in English at SPM/O-Level.
- UEC: 5Bs, including English.
- Matriculation/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 2.00.
- Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent: Minimum CGPA of 2.00.
- Candidates without an art subject or credit in Art must pass a Portfolio Review or Art Test conducted by the College.
- English Requirements: SPM/UEC: Minimum Credit; O-Level/1119: Grade 1–6; TOEFL: 550 (paper) / 220 (computer); IELTS: Band 6.0.
