Course Overview
The Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (Honours) with a specialism in Forex and Investments at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) equips students with the skills to analyze, assess, and trade foreign currencies in the FOREX market. Program Structure
- Level 1: Fundamental skills in accounting and finance, including Financial Accounting, Business Economics, and Accounting Information Systems.
- Level 2: Advanced topics such as Management Accounting, Taxation, Financial Management, and Forensic Accounting.
- Internship: 16-week industrial training to bridge academic learning with practical experience.
- Level 3: Specialized modules including Portfolio Management, Trading: Money and Capital Markets, and Foreign Exchange Trading in Practice.
Entry Requirements
- STPM: 2 Passes with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent.
- A-Level: 2 Passes (Grade A-D) in any 2 subjects, and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or its equivalent.
- UEC: 5 Grade B’s including Mathematics.
- Matriculation/Foundation: Passed with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or equivalent.
- English Requirements: IELTS 5.0, TOEFL IBT 40, Pearson (PTE) 47, or MUET Band 3.5.
